If you reside out of state, or unable to visit our location to be fingerprinted, we have a solution for you that many satisfied customers use to avoid unnecessary time and expense traveling from outside and even within the state of Florida. 0ur Card Scan Processing Service utilizes advanced scanning technology to convert a traditional fingerprint card (“hard card”) into an electronic fingerprint record. Converting a “hard card” into an electronic record enables an applicant to have their fingerprint record processed as quickly as if they had traveled to our fingerprint office location.
Applicants can complete the entire registration process on our website www.1atls.com. If you’re having difficulties registering, please contact our office anytime at 813.347.4436. Once you have completed the registration with 1A Tampa Livescan, we will mail out your package.
Option 1 - We mail you a complete package that includes two (2) FD-258 fingerprint cards.
Option 2 - You can mail us your completed fingerprint cards done by your local police or sheriff’s office, along with the following:

It is entered on a secure network with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Federal Bureau of Investigation. As a member of National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS), our professional integrity and business practice meets the highest standards of the profession.
Applicants receive a confirmation number provided at the end of the registration process. This number shall be retained by the applicant for tracking purposes if there is a need to contact the appropriate agency for background results.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement asks that applicants wait at least 3-5 business days to receive their results. Please be aware that 1A Tampa Livescan does not receive or review the results, and any inquiries regarding the scan or the results should be directed to the applicable state regulatory agency or the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (850-410-8161) using the supplied submission transaction number. Please do not contact 1A Tampa Live scan for results after your fingerprints have been submitted. 1A Tampa Live scan does not receive the status of your background
Please be certain that the information you provided (especially ORI number) is accurate as once it is received by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, it will be processed exactly as it was submitted and cannot be changed. We do not issue refunds under any circumstances once the scan has been submitted. It is possible some less frequently used or new valid ORI numbers are not readily apparent. Please contact our office at 813.347.4436 for any clarification or verification.
